Russ Streiner

Russ Streiner was the very first casualty of George Romero's zombie apocalypse playing Jonny in NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD and will be “Coming to get You” in Manchester on November 2nd & 3rd! Russ also played the Sheriff in NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1990) and is thrilled to be coming back to see the European fans at WEEKEND OF THE DEAD 2024

Gary Streiner

Gary Streiner is a George Romero veteran of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD and two other Romero films; THERE’S ALWAYS VANILLA and SEASON OF THE WITCH. Gary also started The Living Dead Festival and the Fix the Chapel Campaign, without which WEEKEND OF THE DEAD probably wouldn't exist. Gary is a great guest and a very rare autograph for any UK collector.

Ralph Langer

Ralph Langer is a veteran Zombie of DAWN OF THE DEAD, DAY OF THE DEAD and NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1990). Ralph is also the man behind the Super 8 behind-the-scenes footage shot when Dawn was being made and he'll be bringing that camera, and the green shirt he wore, to WOTD 2024! so make sure you don't miss out on this unique piece of history.

Richard France

Richard France plays the unforgettable, yet surrounded by "DUMMIES!", Dr Millard Rausch in DAWN OF THE DEAD and Dr Watts from George Romero's THE CRAZIES. This is only his second appearence at a European Convention, the first being WOTD 2018! So if any of you dummies missed your chance then, make sure you don't miss WOTD 2024!

Scott Reiniger

Scott Reiniger is the hero of DAWN OF THE DEAD that tried really hard NOT to come back! In addition to Scott's leading role in DAWN OF THE DEAD, he also played Marhalt, part of King Billy’s court, in George Romero's KNIGHTRIDERS and had a delicious cameo in Zack Snyder's 2004 DAWN remake/tribute. So come and meet Roger DeMarco himself at WOTD 2024.

Molly McCloskey

Molly McCloskey stars alongside Gaylen Ross in the opening scene in DAWN OF THE DEAD telling Gaylen "it's my turn for the coat" and updating her on the situation with the crew and broadcast. Molly also appears in George Romero's KNIGHTRIDERS and WOTD 2024 will be her first ever convention appearance outside of the US.

Melissa Dunlap

Melissa Dunlap and her brother are the Niece and Nephew of Tom Savini and they played the zombie children at the airport that run from a side room and attack Ken Foree in DAWN OF THE DEAD, becoming two of the very few children ever to be killed on screen in a film as a result. WOTD 2024 will be Melissa's first ever convention appearance outside of the US.

John Russo

John Russo as the distinct honour of being the first George Romero Zombie to be killed on screen. John also co-wrote NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD and was also involved in Tom Savini's 1990 remake, co-producing it with Russ Streiner. With 20 books published and 19 movies behind him, John Russo is a living legend we are delighted to welcome to WOTD 2024.

Jeanie Jefferies

Jeanie Jefferies plays "The Blonde Zombie" in DAWN OF THE DEAD that attacks Scott Reiniger's character, Roger, while he's hot-wiring the truck as Ken Foree's character, Peter, screams "Get its head up!". Jeanie also starred in George Romero's Knightriders and is returning to Weekend of the Dead for the first time in 8 years!

"Wild Bill" Laczko

Bill plays the Redneck with the Head Bandage and is the first guest we've ever had from DAWN OF THE DEAD's Redneck Gang! It is also his first ever appearence at a European Convention! Bill also plays the Zombie in DAY OF THE DEAD that bites Gary Klar's character as Steele tries to shoot Bub and is known to write on fan's posters..."I saved Bub"!

Randy Kovitz

Randy plays the hapless dock cop in DAWN OF THE DEAD as well as the biker gang member that gets shot at when David Emge's character decides it's ours! Randy also stared in the George Romero movie, Knightriders, as Punch, one of the main characters. His work spans may years of theatre, TV and movies including "Fault in their Stars" and "Mr Harrigans Phone".
